Helen Jowett, Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) is CEO of McDonald-Green, a Human Resource Consulting firm that she founded in 1994. The firm provides recruitment, assessment services, training, career transitioning and consulting to area companies. She completed her MBA at Royal Roads University. Helen is qualified by the Canadian Psychologist Press as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) representative for personality profiles, assessment interpretations and team building. She is a certified practitioner of Emotional Inventory Quotient (EQi) and has vast experience with Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI). She has over seventeen years experience in Human Resources and assists a number of companies with their HR and strategic requirements. Helen facilitates growth by focusing on team building, appreciative inquiry, leadership, executive coaching, and motivation. From creating peer to peer advisory boards to succession planning in generational businesses, Helen provides a safe environment for impact awareness and reality checks.

Helen is Past Chair of the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, is a Board member of the Kitchener Chamber of Commerce. She is on the Board of Directors for Canada's Technology Triangle, a member of the WRIEN Steering Committee, and a member of the Prosperity Forum, sitting as the Chair of the Health Care Task Force.

Helen is a past recipient of the K-W Woman of the Year Award. In April of 2003, the Mayor of Cambridge presented McDonald-Green with an Award of Recognition for Excellence in Workforce Training and Development. As Past-Chair for Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region, Helen taught the pilot project and trained business owners facilitating the Student Venture curriculum. She is also Past-President of the Sunrise Rotary and recipient of the Paul Harris Award for outstanding contribution.

She participates in the University of Waterloo Innovate Boot Camp by sharing her business expertise with new entrepreneurs. She has been honoured with the YWCA Women of Distinction Award in the Education, Training and Professional Development category, the Community Philanthropy Award in the category of Outstanding Corporate Philanthropist awarded by the Waterloo Wellington Fund-Raising Executives, and most recently was honoured with the Bell Personal Business Achievement Award.


Toni VeiledalToni Veiledal, CSP, RPT, BA

Director, Corporate Development

Toni oversees the sales and marketing department of the firm and plays a strategic role in public relations and planning. Toni develops and facilitates Corporate Training and Development products offered at McDonald-Green, including conflict resolution, stress management and communication. She delivers a series of leadership workshops that encourage positive culture and enhance leadership capabilities.

Toni is a Registered Professional Trainer, certified by the Institute Canadian Professional Trainers Association. She also holds a Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation through the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA). As well, Toni is a member of the Association of Career Professionals International and participates with the local chapter of the Canadian Society of Training and Development.

She is certified by Psychometrics to administer and interpret Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and utilizes other tools such as stakeholder audits, 360 degree feedback, Leadership Practices Inventories (LPI), and Prevue.

Other areas of her expertise include outplacement and career transitioning.

Toni is an executive member of the Board of Directors for the Business & Education Partnership of Waterloo Region. She has served as a council member for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and was a member of the local Human Resources Training and Development Pro Forum.

A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Toni has been with McDonald-Green since 1999, and generously shares her 20 years of business experience and acumen with McDonald-Green clientele.


Ashlee Mulholland, BA

Manager, Business Development

Ashlee has been a part of the McDonald-Green team for several years and worked in various departments, holding administrative, sales and recruitment roles. Her strategic approach has benefited McDonald-Green by way of training our own team-members and customer employees. Her leadership in training and recruitment has assisted many companies with the development of existing employees and the attraction and retention of exceptional candidates.

Ashlee is a Communications Graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and enjoys finding new ways of training participants in job search techniques, resume writing, networking, contact development and many other service offerings. Ashlee's commitment to life-long learning is demonstrated by her continuous participation in training and development of not only herself but others.
