Benchmarks
Working with your organization, we will develop two Benchmarks as part of the implementation program. We recommend a minimum of five Top Performers for each job complete the Prevue Assessment™ and their results will be utilized to identify the appropriate Benchmark. This process very clearly identifies the traits of the Top Performers and establishes effective Benchmarks for future selection decisions. There is no consulting fee for this Benchmark creation; the only cost involved is for the meters used. A second less objective method of creating Benchmarks is to use the Prevue Job Description Survey.
Additional benchmarks can also be developed based on a small consultation fee.
Custom Benchmarks are powerful representations of the position requirements and complement other processes such as competencies and job outlines. Benchmarks should be reviewed and refined every 15 months to reflect changing strategies and performance of people in the position.
Prevue Reports
There are five different Prevue reports that can be generated to enhance selection decisions, coaching and development planning and succession planning. These include:
- Selection Report – clarifies % job fit and matches the person's results to the Benchmark requirements. The Selection Report provides specific behavioural interviewing questions to probe dimensions an individual has scored outside the benchmark. It provides direction and focus for the interviewer during the short list interviews. Also includes a “snapshot” of the candidate through the 'Total Person' narrative. Each dimension measured is also explained based on the candidate's results.
- Working Characteristics Report – identifies five critical working characteristics including compensation preference, importance of work, tolerance for risk, preference for change and perception of the world. The Working Characteristics Report reveals how the candidate will react in normal circumstances and provides insight on corporate “fit”.
- Individual Report – provides personal feedback to the person who completed the assessment, revealing to the candidate how they compare to the rest of the working population. This report does not reveal Benchmark or job requirements.
- Coaching Report – is designed for a manager to use to enhance communication with a current employee. Coaching tips on communicating, managing and developing the candidate are provided.
- Succession Planning Report – Two different reports compare:
- One Candidate to multiple Benchmarks, enabling management to review an individual's traits, abilities, and interests with a number of job specific benchmarks to evaluate the suitability of an individual for a job – ideal for career direction and planning.
- Multiple candidates to one Benchmark, revealing job suitability ranking in descending order.
